Himalaya Rock Salt - pure, natural 'unbleached' type of salt

Himalaya Rock Salt is made from crystal rocks mined at the foot of Himalaya. They are rich in minerals and trace elements, making them one of the highest quality natural salt.
Just like sea salt, Himalaya Rock Salt contains 97.5% sodium chloride, however, it is always distinguished by its bold flavor. Both rock salt and sea salt are healthier options compared to fine table salt, because they are less processed, which retains majority of the minerals.
Rock salt has a much stronger flavor. Therefore only a small amount is needed to keep meat fresh or accent the taste of food.

Due to its high level of trace minerals, soaking vegetables in rock salt solution is recommended as it helps to draw out contaminants. Himalaya Rock Salt is pink in color due to its rich mineral content and the high iron level.

Other than its uses in cooking, Himalaya Rock Salt has been widely used for beauty and therapeutic purposes.
Tired feet? Having sleeping difficulties? Then you may be up for this super relaxing Himalaya Rock Salt Foot Bath, which is cheap and easy to prepare.

Rock Salt Foot Bath stimulates blood flow, making it suitable for those with cold hands and feet. It strengthens kidney function and is very helpful among those with sleeping difficulties. Best done just before sleeping.

Ingredients:

300gm Himalaya Rock Salt
Warm water in a pail (water level deep enough to reach your calves)

Pour Himalaya Rock Salt into warm water. Place both feet into pail. You may use some undissolved salt granules to gently scrub your feet.
